THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIVING BEHAVIOR AS A PREVENTION OF COVID-19 IN STUDENTS
Abstract
The Relationship Between Knowledge and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior as a Prevention of Covid-19 in medical students' class of 2019 at Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta 2020. Covid-19 is an acute respiratory infection caused by the sars-cov-2. It was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019. The increased number of Covid-19 cases occurred rapidly in a short time. Quick action is needed because this virus can infect anyone regardless of age. WHO announced Covid-19 as a global pandemic on March 12, 2020. Data on Covid-19 in Indonesia as of December 15, 2020 was 629,429 confirmed positive cases, and 19, 111 people died. Efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 are not only the responsibility of the government, but also require the role of every element of society, one of which is by implementing PHBS (clean and healthy living behavior). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and clean and healthy living behavior as a prevention of Covid-19 in medical students class of 2019 at Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta in 2020. This research is an analytical descriptive study with a cross sectional design. Data was taken with online questionnaires collected from medical students class of 2019 at Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta. The medical students class of 2019 at Muhammadiyah University Jakarta have good knowledge and behavior regarding Covid-19 and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior as an effort to prevent Covid-19. There is no relationship between knowledge and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior in the prevention of Covid-19 in this study.
