https://jurnal.naskahaceh.co.id/index.php/jpb/article/view/326

This community service project is entitled "Utilization of Maritime Weather Information for Shipping Safety in Aceh Province." This community service will last for one month, namely August 2023, at the Class 1 Sultan Iskandar Muda Meteorological Station BMKG office, Cot Mancang, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. High waves can occur due to several factors. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website and various other sources, these factors include strong winds, distance and travel time of the wind, differences in temperature and air pressure, interactions between waves, complex ocean currents, and underwater earthquakes. Many factors support the smooth and safe sailing of ships at sea. One of them is natural factors or weather conditions that will significantly influence shipping activities in Indonesia. Therefore, information about weather forecasts is very important in shipping activities. The purpose of this community service is to understand the importance of maritime weather information for shipping and fishermen to facilitate their activities. High waves are more common in the waters north of Sabang, the northern part of the Strait of Malacca, the waters west of Aceh, the Indian Ocean west of Aceh, and the surrounding areas. These areas frequently experience high waves because they are located in open seas, which are more prone to high waves. The waters between Sabang and Banda Aceh still have low to moderate wave heights.
Syindi AirikvitaMuliadi SembiringThaib RizwanIchsan SetiawanSyarifah Meurah Yuni

https://jurnal.naskahaceh.co.id/index.php/jpb/article/view/353

Quranic literacy is an important part of Islamic education, especially at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level as a foundation for developing the ability to read, understand, and practice Islamic teachings from an early age. However, at the Lima Puluh Kota State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, various problems are still found, such as many students who are not yet fluent in reading the Quran, inaccuracy in pronouncing the letters, weak understanding of tajweed, and low interest in reading the Quran. This condition requires real efforts through community service activities in the form of training to strengthen Quranic literacy through the tahsin method. This activity aims to improve students' ability to read the Quran properly and correctly according to the rules of tajweed and strengthen teacher competence in guiding Quranic learning. The service method used is Service Learning with the stages of problem identification, program planning, implementation of tahsin training, direct practice, teacher mentoring, reading evaluation, and pretest and posttest. The implementation of the activity demonstrated an improvement in students' ability to read the Quran, particularly in fluency, accuracy of pronunciation, and application of Tajweed rules. Furthermore, students gained more confidence in reading the Quran, while teachers found it easier to provide ongoing coaching. Thus, this tahsin training made a positive contribution to strengthening Quranic literacy in the madrasah environment.
Fitri WahyuningsihZoni Leo NardoNana SepriyantiMartin Kustati

https://jurnal.naskahaceh.co.id/index.php/jpb/article/view/371

Cattle farming is one area with great potential to boost the local economy in Southeast Aceh, especially in Ketambe District. However, many farmers still face various problems, including a lack of knowledge in animal care management, feeding their cattle improperly, poor disease control, and limited skills in managing their business and marketing their livestock products. This situation results in low productivity and income for the farmers, so ongoing education programs are needed. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and capacity of 60 beef cattle farmers in Ketambe District, Southeast Aceh, so they can apply good farming practices and develop their livestock businesses sustainably. The methods used in this activity include counseling, training, and mentoring. Counseling is done by providing information about beef cattle maintenance management, feed formulation, animal health, reproduction, and business management. Training focuses on skills in making alternative feed, implementing biosecurity, and recording farm business activities, while mentoring aims to ensure the application of technology and business management among farmers. The results of the activities are evaluated through observation and comparing the participants' understanding before and after the activities. The results of the activity showed an increase in farmers' knowledge and skills regarding the management of beef cattle, the use of local feed resources, disease prevention efforts, and business record-keeping. In addition, farmers started to adopt more efficient farming practices, which could boost livestock productivity, reduce production costs, and strengthen the sustainability of their farms. The level of enthusiasm and active participation from all participants during this activity was a clear sign of the program's success.
MuttaqinullahJoharsah Hadirin Kartono Sudarma JA Zaini Hasan Desti PZ Carli Seroja S Abdi RHarapin HH Subaedah S

https://jurnal.naskahaceh.co.id/index.php/jpb/article/view/374

Many high school students in Indonesia lack access to accurate information about university study programs, which impedes informed career decision-making. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and understanding of Grade XI students at MAN Model Banda Aceh regarding the profile, curriculum, student activities, and graduate career prospects of the Development Economics Study Program (EKP) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). A participatory socialization method was employed, encompassing structured presentations, group discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions, conducted on May 20, 2026. The activity engaged 42 students from the Grade XI Science class (IPA). Activity evaluation was conducted through direct observation of participant engagement, photographic documentation, and qualitative assessment of student participation during discussion and question-and-answer sessions. Results indicated high levels of enthusiasm and active participation, with students raising numerous substantive questions covering program distinctions, admission pathways, campus life, and graduate career prospects. These outcomes confirm that interactive, face-to-face program socialization is effective in broadening students’ educational literacy and supporting more informed career decision-making among secondary school students.
Mutiara RamadhaniReva Fitri Syarly UsiLiza NasrahRaisa Syihadina ZacviDiana Sapha A.H
