This community service will last for one month, namely August 2023, at the Class 1 Sultan Iskandar Muda Meteorological Station BMKG office, Cot Mancang, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. High waves can occur due to several factors. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration website and various other sources, these factors include strong winds, distance and travel time of the wind, differences in temperature and air pressure, interactions between waves, complex ocean currents, and underwater earthquakes. Many factors support the smooth and safe sailing of ships at sea. One of them is natural factors or weather conditions that will significantly influence shipping activities in Indonesia. Therefore, information about weather forecasts is very important in shipping activities. The purpose of this community service is to understand the importance of maritime weather information for shipping and fishermen to facilitate their activities. High waves are more common in the waters north of Sabang, the northern part of the Strait of Malacca, the waters west of Aceh, the Indian Ocean west of Aceh, and the surrounding areas. These areas frequently experience high waves because they are located in open seas, which are more prone to high waves. The waters between Sabang and Banda Aceh still have low to moderate wave heights.
2026-05-22T09:14:05+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Bangsahttps://jurnal.naskahaceh.co.id/index.php/jpb/article/view/352IMPLEMENTATION OF BALANCED NUTRITION EDUCATION FOR PREGNANT WOMEN IN AN EFFORTS TO PREVENT STUNTING IN BLANG ASAN VILLAGE, PEUSANGAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER WORKING AREA, BIREUEN REGENCY2026-06-19T02:10:53+00:00Nurhidayatinuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.comHerrywati Tambunannuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.comZulfa Hanumnuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.comKhairatul Umairanuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.comSalsabila Nisanuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.comNajma Naziranuhidayatiibrahim64@gmail.com
This community service activity was carried out in Blang Asan Village, the working area of the Peusangan Health Center , Bireuen Regency , with the aim of improving the knowledge , attitudes , and skills of pregnant women , breastfeeding mothers , and mothers of toddlers in implementing balanced nutrition as an effort to prevent stunting. However, at the Lima Puluh Kota State Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, various problems are still found, such as many students who are not yet fluent in reading the Quran, inaccuracy in pronouncing the letters, weak understanding of tajweed, and low interest in reading the Quran. This condition requires real efforts through community service activities in the form of training to strengthen Quranic literacy through the tahsin method. This activity aims to improve students' ability to read the Quran properly and correctly according to the rules of tajweed and strengthen teacher competence in guiding Quranic learning. The service method used is Service Learning with the stages of problem identification, program planning, implementation of tahsin training, direct practice, teacher mentoring, reading evaluation, and pretest and posttest. The implementation of the activity demonstrated an improvement in students' ability to read the Quran, particularly in fluency, accuracy of pronunciation, and application of Tajweed rules. Furthermore, students gained more confidence in reading the Quran, while teachers found it easier to provide ongoing coaching. Thus, this tahsin training made a positive contribution to strengthening Quranic literacy in the madrasah environment.
2026-06-19T03:49:08+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Pengabdian Bangsa
